Stealing mail is a crime in Canada, and it comes a maximum punishment of up to 10 YEARS in jail.

However, after Liberal MP George Chahal was caught red-handed stealing Conservative campaign material from a doorstep during the last election, his only consequence was paying a $500 fine!

Do you think this was a sufficient punishment for his offence?
