Message to Constituents

Dear Constituents of Calgary Midnapore,

What an intense year!

In 2025, we have endured:the prorogation of the House; Trudeau’s resignation;the Liberal leadership race; a federal election campaign; the return of another Liberal minority Parliament, a painful trade war with the USA; and a long-awaited federal Budget.  

Yet – after all that, Canadians are no better off!

Groceries cost more, food bank usage is up, the housing crisis rages on, tariff negotiations are at a standstill, immigration is out of control, there are no pipelines, jobs numbers are down, thousands face layoffs — and the Prime Minister has the gall to ask Canadians to make even more sacrifices.

If you’re feeling frustrated with the state of things, trust me – you are not alone!

Let me reassure you that my resolve to protect this cherished riding and my drive to deliver hardworking Canadians with the quality of life they deserve is greater than ever.

As we’ve witnessed, a lot can happen in a year, and I plan on doing everything in my power in 2026 to make life better for us all.

In the meantime, I look forward to returning home to my family for Christmas and reconnecting with constituents across the riding.
