Stephanie requested the opportunity to set the record straight after the Minister of Transport incorrectly claimed earlier in the month that Canadians were unable to purchase single tickets to sun destinations from American carriers, after his government shut down Canadian flights to those same locations. She also used the opportunity to express her continued disappointment in the Liberal government’s failure to support the airline industry, including their opposition to a Conservative motion calling for sector-specific supports to be presented in the next Budget.
